Notes

Use hot milk that is steaming but not boiling to keep the cake soft and moist. Start checking the cake after 35 minutes and always test with a skewer before removing it. If the top is browning too quickly in a smaller air fryer, lower the temperature by 10°C and continue cooking. Cook until the skewer comes out clean, then let the cake cool completely before slicing for the best texture. Ingredients in grams and cups : All-purpose flour 2 cups 240 g Baking powder 2 tsp 8–9 g Salt ¼ tsp 1 g Desiccated coconut ½ cup 40 g Mixed nuts finely crushed ½ cup 50 g Sugar ¾ cup 150 g Oil or melted butter ½ cup 120 g Eggs 2 large Hot milk ¾ cup 180 ml Vanilla essence 1½ tsp
